Plastic-Free Pumice Stone Review
While I was abroad in France this past summer I stumbled upon a soap shop selling a few zero waste items, including this plastic-free pumice stone. Package Free Shop sells a similar one for $5 although they’re currently sold out.
I really like my pumice stone. Sometimes in the summer months my feet begin to dry and I hate feeling self-conscious about it, especially when I’m wearing sandals. The pumice stone gently removes dead skin, leaving your feet fresh and clean.
I find it’s easiest to use it while in the shower. First, shower as normal, allowing your feet skin to soften in the water. When you’re done, soap up your feet before rubbing the pumice stone around in a circular motion, focusing on areas which are dry. Dry your feet and moisturize. You may find you need to use the stone a few times before your feet are completely smooth, but just be patient.
I would recommend a plastic-free pumice stone!
