Lush Message Bar Review
The lush massage bar is perfect for those on the go.
Carrying liquid lotion can be a hassle. Between it erupting on planes and it getting stuck at the bottom of the plastic container, traveling with it isn’t ideal. That’s why I wanted to try the Lush massage bar. I bought Therapy which is a light, slightly lemony smell for $13 and the aluminum tin for another $4. Although pricy, it really is a life saver when it comes to traveling. Not only does it not explode randomly in your bag, it can be taken through security. I use it as a hand and body lotion and with moderate use it’ll last me about a month. It has a slightly greasy feel to it which is annoying when you want to use your phone but otherwise is fine. It leaves my skin feeling super hydrated which is especially important after spending time on planes.
My one main critique is more of a word of warning. The massage bar will melt at high temps. That being said, when it did melt when I was traveling in Mallorca, Spain, it created a seal around the tin and didn’t leak. Also, when it gets thin after use the bar will become brittle and break. That being said, if you’re careful it could stay in one piece till it’s used up. While it’s great for traveling, I don’t use it on a day to day bases both because it’s too greasy and because relying on it that heavily wouldn’t be economic.
Overall, I recommend the Lush massage bars for traveling!
